Jesse, who served several terms on the Board of Directors, most recently as Chairman, has played a pivotal role for GQCHCC over the years. As a Quad Cities Native, he brings over two decades of leadership experience, a wealth of community knowledge and engagement, and great appreciation and commitment for the Hispanic Chamber and the Greater Quad Cities community.

I’ve spent the last 10 years supporting non-profit sectors in both Healthcare and Social services, including Community Health Care, Inc. and The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. After 10 great years in that sector, I to branched out to Manufacturing and joined Arconic, Inc. in 2024, where I’ve been an HR Business Partner since. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife, Samantha Cruz and our little boy, Kai!

Community Education Advocate, IL/IA Center for Independent Living

Marisa has passion for Community Organizing, Diversity Inclusion and Team building. She brings her expertise in Marketing, Networking and leadership to the IL/IA Center for Independent Living in order to promote their activities and events. She has been in her field of work for 21 years and has done public speaking, training, and disability advocacy on a local, state and national level.

Emmanuel Juarez is a seasoned Mexican American entrepreneur with nearly two decades of experience in the entertainment industry and over 12 years of leadership as a business owner. He previously held the role of Vice President for LULAC Council 5283 and has been an active member of numerous committees, subcommittees, and professional referral networks dedicated to community advancement. With a strong passion for service, Emmanuel specializes in educating and advising individuals and small businesses on insurance and strategic growth. His multifaceted background, combined with a deep commitment to empowering others, positions him as a trusted voice in both business and civic circles.

I have over 25 years of Leadership and Management experience based in retail and manufacturing. I have been with CHC for two years as the HR Admin Assistant. I greatly admire the work CHC does for our patients and the community, and I’m excited to incorporate my work here along with GQCHCC! Trish Burnett

Executive Director, American Red Cross of the Quad Cities and Northwest Illinois

Trish Burnett joined the American Red Cross in 2015 after more than 20+ years working in the media in the Quad Cities.
At the Red Cross, Trish focuses on building community resiliency, increasing volunteer capacity and strengthening community partnerships across a 21-county area that includes the Quad Cities and Rockford.
As a lifelong resident of the Quad Cities, Trish takes immense pride in the strength and beauty of our community and is a strong voice in promoting the community.
In addition to serving on the board of the Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber, Trish proudly serves on the board of the Humane Society of Scott County, reflecting her dedication to animal welfare.
